“Outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

With an interesting yet comfortable setting this is a great venue for a dinner. It is expensive but the food really was excellent and the service was flawless. If you're looking for somewhere a little special this is a good one. As well as the tunnel/cave type room they also have a terrace for dining al fresco in warmer weather.

“Wedding 22/03/2014”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

I was happy at the speed of the service with out any questions asked when amendments needed to be made. The staff are very friendly and professional.
The location is easy to get to in Valletta and it has a unique Cave like historical room with by gone era figures to view like the ones found in Imdina.
The food is impeccable and the place is a must for all those looking for that Romantic eve at affordable prices.
I will definitely be going back again very shortly to indulge in the fine dinning experience they offer.

“A Pleasant Evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

It was our first visit to the Rampila Restaurant and it won't be our last. Having pre-booked the table we found it ready and nicely set-up. What looked like a former tunnel in the bastions has been turned into a very unique dining experience with an interesting surrounding. The food is "religiously" prepared and the caring staff is always around to make sure all is fine. Walking down the stairs into the restaurant, to the left hand side one finds the entrance to the bar where a few tables invite as well to wine & dine. One can also visit a small Maltese folklore museum further down in the bastions which adds to the original character of the restaurant. To make this place perfect there is a beautiful terrace where one can also dine al fresco and enjoy the view to the Valletta entrance.

Thanks for a remarkable evening.
