I have just returned form a week staying at this hotel with a group of 35 musicians. We found it very comfortable and the staff very helpful at all times. I had a single room that I would say was certainly above average with my own balcomy which overlooked the road at the back.
The location right on the waterfront is perfect with a number of bars, restaurants, shops, even Marks and Spencers, and BHS within 5 mins walk. Right next to the hotel are two shops selling everything you would need including water, food, sanitary items etc.
Each day around 5.00 a chambermaid would call and offer to turn your bed down and at the same time leave you a handful of sweets.
The food in the restaurant is very good indeed (four courses) with a carvery on Sunday evening. However the resturants along the waterfront also offer excellent quality food (Pebbles was a favourite).
There is a medium sized swimming pool on the roof with a bar to the front of the hotel with wonderful views of Sliema Creek and the Valetta on the far side (wonderful views after dark as its all floodlit).
You can buy time on the internet at the hotel (two terminals available - that were hardly used). 2 lira (about £3.50) will buy you 190 minutes which lasted the week for me.
I recommend this hotel and will certainly visit again.
We were even accommodated on the last morning as we had to leave the hotel at 5.00am to catch our flight and they put on a special breakfast for our group.
We had a great stay here. Hope you do too.
