This restaurant has several issues!
Firstly it seems to be trying to be a TGI Fridays both in the aesthetics of the restaurant along with the service and food and in doing so lacks its own character that other restaurants in Sliema / Malta have.
Starting with the food it was a disaster from start to finish. I ordered garlic bread which ended up being a burger bun with some cheese on top. Following this I had a chargrilled chicken that was cold and rubber like. My partner had a sea food risotto and this contained broken mussel shells which she nearly choked on! We could not stomach any dessert. The sting in the tail was the cost which nearly amounted to 50 euros for totally sub-standard food.
The service did not help the restaurant. The staff were more interested in standing talking to each other and as soon as our forks and knives were placed on the plate the staff were asking whether we were finished and trying to take out plates away. This was not in a helpful manner but in a way which made us feel like we were putting the staff out by being present.
Overall I would not re-visit Fortizza if you paid me!
