“Arabian memories”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

Very beautiful place.
It reminds arabian arcjtecture and colours.
Pay attention at horses that bring the car for tourists in the street.
They run very quicly.
Remember the camera to take many pictures of the landscape.

“Oasis of calm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

Mdina is a lovely city, with narrow picturesque streets and beautiful buildings. However, it's also an oasis in the hustle and bustle of all the other tourist sights in malta. There is a very relaxed atmosphere to the city. We strolled around the streets and enjoyed the quietness that surrounded us. Definitely a place to visit in malta.

“Silent City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

One needs a full day to tour this city within a castle. So quiet as one walks within the walls, it seems really strange that people still live with the walls. Plenty of historic places to see and a few resturants if you feel the need to just sit and contemplate the beautiful views. Just around the corner is the village of Rabat again full of history of again just sit in the square and enjoy the quiet ambience of the place.

“A hidden gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

I didn't have much time to visit as my trip was only 4 days, but this was one of the places I was recommended. The architecture is beautiful, honey-coloured stone with old coats-of-arms appearing over the doors. There are various other attractions within the city but I didn't have time to visit them. Next time, I will make the effort to stay longer.
Just beware of the Karrozzin drivers (horse & carriage) as they can pester you.
