“Beautiful Glass Pieces!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

We arrived by the Hop-on/Hop-Off bus from the Port of Valetta. It took us 15 mins. to arrive at the Mdina Glass Factory. The stop was out of order compared to the one listed in the brochure.

As you arrive and walk thru the double doors, there is a sign that states "If you break it, it will be considered sold." So, walk in carefully and make sure that all the children know about the RULE.

The factory, where all the master glass blowers and their apprentices, is amazing. I purchased some nice stuff and highly recommend everyone to visit this location.

Take time in going through the facility. It is REALLY nice. Everyone speaks English and are very courtesous.

“Interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

It was interesting to watch the glass being made. Some pieces were beautiful and the 50% reduced section had some real bargains. Worth visiting if you're in the craft village but a bit of a walk from the other outlets.

Excellent visit - if a little expensive. Great demonstrations of glass blowing. |Lovely range of items to buy all sorted in different coloured areas.

“Always amazing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

This place is always worth a visit, if only to watch the glass blowers at work. The workplace is open to visitors and you can watch them working with molten glass from an unsuspecting blob to the most exquisite finished article. We can spend quite a long while watching them - they are excellent craftsmen.

The shop is packed with glass goods so take care if you have children. There is something for every pocket and most tastes. Well worth a visit.

“Glass at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Medina Glass in the craft village is a place to sit and admire the skill of the Glass Blowers, as they work away.
The showroom and shop attached to the workshop displays and sells the goods that the factory makes.
Something for every body items priced from a few Euros to a few hundred Euros, from Vases to jewellery, and cute glass animals.
A nice way to spend a couple of hours.
