What an amazing find - we booked this through the internet and were certainly not disappointed. Such a welcome awaits you from Jean Francois and his wife Sabine and they quite rightly, very proudly show off their amazing achievements in their conversion from a farm to the most delightful Chambre d'hote. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and very, very comfortable. The feast that awaited us the following morning was amazing - home baked bread and apple cake, jams from their own fruit trees, croissant, brioche, yogurts, fruit...... Our only regret was that we stayed on a Monday night, the only night they don't do evening meals as I am sure that this would have been plentiful and glorious as well ! We certainly hope to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: You do have to keep your eyes peeled for the entrance as the sign at the driveway is quite small - w...

There is hospitality and then there is this place.

Sabine and Jean Francios - what an amazing couple they are..... Lovely, friendly, charming people who made us feel so welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left ( and we really wanted to stay longer than the one night that we had booked)

On a cycling trip from London to Paris, we made the big mistake of venturing into Forges Les Eaux for an evening meal, where we failed to locate the recommended restaurant, and instead had a bit of a disastrous meal at another establishment - next time, if Sabine invites you to enjoy an evening meal with them, then do not hesitate to take her up on her offer.

The accommodation - amazing - 'caravans' with high class internal specs.....you have to experience it !

Breakfast, fantastic spread, much of it home made, traditionally french, excellent converstaion with the hosts and other guests!

Ten out of ten !

Room Tip: Book up one of the caravans !

Sadly, we only stayed one night, but shall certainly return and will also share the information with friends who also like to visit France.
Sabine and Jean Francois were delightful hosts, the rooms were very comfortable and the welcome very warm. We also enjoyed an excellent evening meal, which included much wine and home-produced calvados.

This B&B (private home) is located a little away from the main roads but [gosh!] how my companions were excited about this place in the end! The owners of this charming place (Jean-Francois and Sabine) have beautiful house, big apple orchard around and several several brightly colored cabins in it. Everything looks beautiful. Rooms in the house are very homey, clean, bright and individually furnished. And again to the hosts - amazing people doing everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible! Extremly recommend you to book an evening meal - local cuisine (several courses), homemade calvados and wine, mmm!

The caravans at Le Clos du Quesnay were our final stay in our bike ride from Dieppe to Paris and back again.
It was the perfect place to stay. A beautiful rural setting with very friendly, high quality chambre d'hote accommodation. The clever interior design of the caravans made for an extremely comfortable stay for 4 bike weary travellers. The evening meals were top restaurant quality and the breakfasts of local produce provided the perfect start to the day. We couldnt have asked for more from our host Sabine and Jean-Francois.
Having to stay a second night because of bike problems was a welcome and unexpected bonus. One of the few times we have been pleased to discover a burst tyre or troublesome puncture.

Room Tip: If you want something different but still very comfortable you have to try the gypsy caravans

This was a lovely and welcoming stay with a great family suite. The kids enjoyed the fireplace, giant chess and delicious breakfast with homemade breads and jams. If the weather had permitted, they would have enjoyed the playground too. We loved the quality comfortable room and friendly welcome. The nearby town of Forges-les-eaux was also surprisingly charming and larger than we expected. We only regretted not having longer than a day to explore the area. We plan to go back and explore by bike path.

Without a doubt the best overnight stay in Northern France I have used in the last six years. The owners are really nice people, the room was excellent and the evening meal was superb. John Francois and Sabine are rightly proud of Le Clos de Quesnay and we will be recommending it to all our friends.
