“A lovely evening I did not want to end!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

We booked just for something to do but so glad. Very charming Marissa met us & Anthony took over the tour. His passion is infectious and his knowledge & storytelling made this an enjoyable and relaxed couple of hours for a small group of strangers! The setting for tasting the wine and their food was perfect. If in Gozo this should not be missed...and the purchase of a sneaky bottle of tasty Garb is a must!

“A warm welcome awaits at this authentic wine tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Looking for something different to do, I discovered this gem of an attraction in the sleepy island of Gozo. If you like wine then this is a must-do. The owners made this tour a truly unforgettable experience. High up in the vineyards of Gharb, where it all happens, we learnt about wine making, tasted red and white wine and sampled Gozitian food. Afterward we were taken to the winery in Xaghra where the wine is processed. Well done to Anthony and Marissa for a most informative and relaxed evening. First class! I felt as if I was among friends.

“Friendly welcome - great tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

We go to Gozo every year to a friends Villa and decided to do something a little different from the usual.

We booked on the tour and headed to the local craft village where we were met by Marisa. A short drive and we were at the winery. Her husband, Anthony (with assistance from Marisa due to a cold!) explained their passion for wine and the unique work they do to achieve the perfect grape.

Thereafter we moved over to their sun terrace and sampled 4 lovely wines accompanied by gozitan treats including Matisa's homemade tomato pesto. It was such a nice evening if informal chat with other travellers and getting to know Anthony and Marisa.

We travelled to the actual winery where the grapes are transformed and bought a few bottles to take home.

I'd highly recommend going on the tour.

“Fantastic Evening at Tal-Massar Vineyard”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

I truly never appreciated how much of a science was involved in order to make wine. As well as the science it takes a whole lot of passion and dedication to produce the vines which you can tell Anthony has in an abundance from the moment you meet him.

Every wine has a unique flavor, Every bottle has its own story, Every name has it's own history.

Marisa & Anthony and extremely welcoming and proud of what they have achieved and you can feel that in every conversation.

Also please taste the homemade tomato pesto - amazing. (really nice with a bottle of Garb

I wish Marisa & Anthony all the success in the world and i really recommend this to anyone who vists Gozo,
