“Mgaar Harbour - Dancing Girls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2014 via mobile

Our first sight of Gozo and not dissapointed.
Our Lady of Lourdes Emmanuel Galizia Church peeping thro' the girls. We landed here en route to our holiday destination. Returned to take a boat trip to The Blue Grotto and Crystal
Bay. Gozo full of lovely sights and Gozitans who are extra friendly people not to anglisized
fortunately. Also our last view of Gozo when we had to leave.

Stayed September 2014

It was such a pleasant surprise - great day trip from the mainland of Malta. Waters were so crystal clear, scenery stunning, great boat trip thru the caves to view the outside waters of the Azure Window. Our tour guide Joe was very informative & proud of his homeland. Would come back to Gozo for a holiday, rent an apartment & enjoy mixing with the locals.

The sister island of Malta,Gozo is a perfect getaway... The island is relaxed and less hectic than Malta itself.
The old farmhouse we hired was spacious with 5 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, a big pool, and garden. We just came back, and will visit in September again.

Went over to Gozo to spend time with my husbands brother and children on there summer holiday, was an amazing getaway. Plenty to do and see and the bus's are so cheap, a whole day's travel being €2.50.

Easy boat ride to go across to Malta.

Had an amazing holiday, Going again next year.

Lovely place to spend a morning in Gozo - small area with winding cobbled streets. Do remember to factor in the time taken to get there - about 20 minutes on the bus from Gozo harbour. We did this as a day trip from Valletta with no problems.

A lovely away from it all location, we used the Gozo bus service to get around and it was fine as long as you registered they were 1 per hour to the village. The accommodation is spacious and well planned. The bed and bedroom was excellent and very quiet for sleep. We had an apartment that leaked when it rained and consequently there was damp smell that was noticeable towards the end of our stay. We were here for 3 days so stood for it any longer and we would have been complaining long and hard about it though. The village has no facilities, no problem if you are self catering there is a well stocked store in the next village which is an easy walk. Victoria has lots of fresh and good value fish and vegetables. Gozo is fantastic this place is okay.
