Ramla beach is beautiful. To really appreciate it you need to climb up to the lookout point by Calypso's cave. The cave itstelf is a non issue. It is small, closed of and irrelevant considering the view offered by the platform. To ge there you must climb. Luckily it is a paved road that leads up to the top. It is steep and can be treacherous (OK a bit) when wet. Most visitors come in the summer so moisture will not be an issue. The heat, though, will make up for it. Do not despair, even in November when we went there was a refreshment trailer up on top as well as a smal souvenir shop. The road is on your left as you walk down the road to Ramla beach. Go. It is worth it.
