“Magnificent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

Even if you are not religious this church is a must, a small charge to go to the top and you can climb up into the bell tower, you can see for miles as far as the Gozo ferry.

“See the old church next to it.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013 via mobile

The new church is lovely, but the old church next door is just magic!! It formerly occupied the site of the new church, and was moved and rebuilt next to it. To up in the lift, and walk across to the new church, for incredible views. The stairs are a bit scary but worth the climb

A must if only to go up in the lift to the dome and walk around the outside and look at the views. Spectacular church and the history of it's construction.

“Grand new church with large dome”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

For me (non-catholic, church of life) this new church promised much but disappointed. I think it was the newness, the pristine stonework, stained glass windows, and sense of clinical presentation, that made me feel let down. In future, of course, it will have more history to relate but, currently, its just a new church with a big dome.
