Oh My, it's lovely. The rooms are huge, have tea and coffee making facilities so you can relax on your massive balcony in your complementary fluffy dressing gown and soak up the view of the crystalline waters and the Desertas Islands. The bathrooms are also sumptuous, I felt like we were in a suite! The restaurant does high quality food, we had at least 3 courses at every meal. The Fleur Du Sel was all Self Service during our stay. Captains Bar did Burgers and Chips for lunch and Lords was the Al La Carte option.
The Pools were deep and inviting and the pool guys cater to your every need. The Sea Pool was especially nice as it is man made, but filled with sea water so you can be splashed by the waves when the tide is coming in.
The walk down the pan handle is steep, however the path is well maintained and if you have good knees and plenty of water, the views are definitely worth it. The same goes for the sandy beach at Prainha.
It is a newly opened hotel and they are still ironing out the wrinkles, but the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, so just ask and enjoy the solitude. No Shops, No nightclubs, just peace, perfect peace
