We stayed here on a Groupon deal offering DBB for £89. If we had paid full price for our stay I would have been disappointed as I didn't feel the hotel was anything to write home about. We paid the extra £15 for a superior room which to our mind just looked like a standard room we would expect at any decent hotel chain. There were two waffle robes and slippers and a fridge with two bottles of sparkling water but that was it - no nespresso machine as advertised just a normal kettle and an average bathroom with a shower. Dinner was average at best in the very dimly lit restaurant, nothing special - typical frozen food fare with horrid frozen fries and steak at a supplement of £8.95 - and at breakfast there was no hot buffet on offer, we had to order from the staff - possibly because there was only about five of us in the restaurant at this time and it wasn't financially worth setting up the hot buffet. There was also a mistake with our bill which was promptly rectified but all in all it seemed like the hotel was all style and no substance. It's probably a fantastic venue for a wedding but I was actually quite disappointed with it and I wouldn't hurry back.
