With lots of good help, me and 3 friends ordered a Land Cruiser for a hole day. We ordered the 101 driving tour and got an excellent day behind the wheel. We plowed through snow up in the mountains, crossed rivers, cruised on lava beach and played around in the mud. Our guide for the day, Beggi, was an excellent guide. We learned alot about Iceland and off road driving. He also took us to a lava cave and a shopping mall where we looked at an earthquake exhibition. We also got to se the Artic Truck head quarter and for petrol heads like us, a visit to he garage where they build the trucks where amazing. A perfect way to combine an action packed day with sightseeing.

My family and I did the Langjokull All Around 3 day trip which was amazing. This was done in early August and we had a traffic guide Valdi who was extremely knowledgeable about Iceland and everywhere we visited. The trip was catered to us as we did a lot of hiking which we requested if we could do. The driving was quite fun as the trucks really are pushed on the mountain roads and you can see why they have to be so well modified. The huts we stayed in were very nice and the food provided was really good. At night our guide would grill for us and during the day we were offered lots of different choices for food and drinks. My only gripe about the experience was how much it was. For this particular trip we paid 5,880.00 US which did not include gas which must have been another 200-300. Despite this, however, I would go again in a heartbeat.

Helpful and quick booking service. Great way to combine action driving and nature sights close to Reykjavik. Our trip lastet for five hours and included lots of snowdriving on mountain "roads". We also had some detours along the coastline and got to see lava caves. Our guide did a flawless job.

My brother and I gave our dad a daytrip with Arctic Trucks for his 60th birthday. It was a fantastic trip with a truly excellent guide. Our guide Josef had so much knowledge about Island, and he was a truly epic driver of off roaders. And when we trashed around on a lava beach, and my 60 year old dad had a smile on his face like a 5 year old with a new toy it was all worth it.

I recommend Arctic Trucks Experiences to everyone who wants to visit Island a different way. And behind the wheel of a massive 4x4 everyone has a smile on their face!!
