“Great value! ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

Really basic 1950's burger diner.
Had a great burger for lunch with plenty of fries. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Also enjoy a film such as dirty dancing while you dine. Will go back !

“An evening with the Dude...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

Bit pricey but worth the experience, it's truly a place the Dude would have hung out... the milkshakes are supposed to be the best in Iceland and the White Russians are an inevitable drinks menu staple... watch the film if you don't get the references ;)

“The ultimate Lebowski experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

Me and a couple of my friends stopped by just to take a look inside because the exterior really called to us, and we heard a little 50's-60's swing rock, we weren't even going to buy a drink.

The decor,
Amazing, full of details from the movie, clean and retro!

Service,
The service was more than expected, when we walked inside a friendly bartender greeted us with a smile and offered us a menu, we took a few pictures and sat at a table. 2 mins later he came to us, offered drinks and told us about the "Happy Hour" 2 for 1 on draft beers or red, white wine, we were in luck.
Anyways we ended up not only having a drink, but we also had food (which was one of the best burgers I've tasted) and partied there till 4:30 in the morning all because of this super polite and friendly bartender !!

Nightlife,
Everybody was super friendly and it had great atmosphere, definitely a night to remember.

As a The big Lebowski fan, I completely fell in love with the place and we went there every day for the rest of our trip, the only thing I regret is that we didn't find it on our first day

“Good happy hour spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

This was my regular spot for happy hour as you can get two for the price of one beer. Stopped at some other bars with happy hour and they limited the 2 for 1, or low price to only one or two beers--usually the least tasty, but Lebowski's will give you the happy hour price on any of their draft beers.

“Great Bar In The Heart of Reykjavik!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

Unless you're a football fan, just make sure there is no game on! Wanted to have a drink here after popping in earlier and falling in love with the layout/atmosphere of the place. Sadly when came back during happy hour it was packed with footy fans, which really doesn't fit with the ethos of the place in my view. However, I can understand not wanting to pass up the opportunity to fill up the place up with customers on a Sunday evening! Came back a couple hours after the footy crowd departed and settled in for some drinks. Didn't try the food, but for consuming alcohol, I can't imagine a cooler place to do it in. The soft lighting used also fit the bar to a tee, and the music played when we were there was truly Dude-worthy. My only regret was missing their Saturday night retro party, which kicks off after midnight!
