The hotel is in a good location, with free onsite parking. It is a modern design within an old paint factory, the staff are helpful and friendly. There are a number of small lounge areas each one with a different theme. The rooms and bathroom are on the small side, but very clean and comfortable. For those that are bothered the hot water did not smell of sulphur.
Would stay her again.

The Marina hotel, a quick 5 minute walk to the central shopping/restaurant area, is convenient and offers everything a weary traveller would need.

Quiet, comfortable, convenient - this hotel is a great refuge for the weary traveller having circumvented the island nation. Parking might be a bit tight so you may want to get rid of the car before checking in.

The bar/restaurant is very enjoyable - great food and drink in a vibrant atmosphere.

The room is very, very comfortable. The bathroom apologizes for being small - but it has everything you need and is well featured. The bed is firm and offers a great night sleep. I had a room overlooking the road and there was no noise from the street.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would recommend it.

We stayed in a family room with bunk beds. Our 2 kids took the top bunk and loved it. They have a really nice breakfast buffet and a nice bar. Excellent location in the marina. We would stay there again.

The hotel is in a very good location. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of downtown Reykjavik. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and not too small. We stayed on two different occasions and the bathroom was a tad small in one room but a very good size in the other. We had a view of the dry docked boats which was great!

The hotel is very new with nice rooms and a cool lobby area which is turned into a lounge bar at night (at least in the weekends). There is also a second bar and restaurant at the hotel which appears to be popular among the locals and the hotel guests. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the city center.

Room Tip: Rooms on the harbour side are quieter because of a road passing by on the opposite side.

Convenient to downtown area and harbor area. Snacks, sandwiches, beer, soda available all night.

Bar open until 0500.

Our Standard Double Room was small. The bathroom had sliding frosted glass doors. When, uh, doing your business in the bathroom, you are sitting within a few feet of the bed. Your silhouette can be seen and any noise heard is if you were in the bedroom.

The rooms could use sun blocking shades - which most Icelandic hotels lack.

We will probably stay elsewhere next time - or at least get a room with more privacy.

Room Tip: Harbor view is nothing special - overlooks a ship building yard.
