“Really great food and good service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013 via mobile

The restaurent is more about the food than the museum. We had the 4 courses and it was beyond what was expected. We were one of the last tables and the service was impeccable. We went at night so we just saw black and lights but the food was perfect. Love the lobster soup! My bf loved the first course, salmon.

“Excellent view from the top”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

This is an interesting Reykjavik feature. It is a composite of huge water tanks that they've managed to make into a destination. One of the water tanks holds a museum (instead of water) that tells of history of Iceland through life-size dioramas. There is also a nice restaurant on the top floor of the building. But best of all is the view from the outside viewing platform. We were lucky enough to be there when the sun was shining and it was phenomenal.

“One of the best meals I have ever had!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

The food was amazing, the service second to none and the views and restaurant absolutely beautiful. I wanted to go back the next day! I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and returning there when I return to Reykjavik.

“Loved the Saga Museum in the Pearl”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

The views of Reykjavik are wonderful...really gives you a good overview of the city below. It was a quick (10 minute) up the path from our hotel. We loved the Saga Museum. The figures depicting Iceland's Saga era were very life-like. The audio tour (about 45 minutes) was an excellent history lesson.
