“One of the best pizzerias anywhere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

We recently went with a group of friends to La Luna for a meal before heading out on the Northern Lights tour, as it was next door to our hotel.
What an amazing meal! They serve a large and varied selection of pizzas, with an enormous list of available extra toppings. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with low lighting, and the staff were very smiley and helpful.
I opted for the "Eat,Pray, Love" pizza which was simply delicious. We all agreed that the pizzas here are some of the best we have had anywhere, including Italy!

“Great pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Delicious pizza. They had about 20 standard pizzas & then a choice of over 100 extra toppings. You'd have to be very fussy not to find something there. The service was friendly & quick and it was reasonably priced. As the restaurant is attached to a hotel, I expected it to be full of tourists, but there were a lot of locals there so it must be pretty good. Perfect for a tasty filling meal before a Northern Lights trip.

“Awesome Calzone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

I don't really eat pizza much but the Calzone I ate here was better than some Italian restaurants. The service was superb and they use a proper wood burning pizza oven to cook the pizzas. The chef is a native Icelander and all the staff were happy to talk to you after you had finished your meal.

“Very good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

Great food in a kozy place.
Got there with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time. The Beef Carpaccio tasted like heaven and they had the best pizzas. I could even split two of the corses, in half ,witch I couldn't choose between.
Loved this restaurant.

“Nice pizza!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

We went to this restaurant because the recommended Harry's Bistro was full and this restaurant is attached to our hotel, the Best Western Reykjavik.

We had an excellent experience, a helpful friendly waitress who was with us almost straightaway. We enjoyed choosing from the unusual menu and picked our toppings.
The pizzas were only about 10-15 minutes coming - freshly cooked and delicious. Being pizza afficionados who go to Italy every year we are often critical but the base was just right and the toppings generous.

A very pleasant experience.
