“Great side trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

On a Thursday night, my friend and I were walking towards the Old Harbor and noticed a lot of people going into this building. We followed suit and ended up buying 2 cheap tickets to the symphony. It was a delight; a great side trip. The seating was wonderful and the building is spectacular inside and out. I recommend planning ahead and catching a performance, even if it is Icelandic.

You can also get a tour of the building. I'm not sure if there is a fee for the tour, but there is a fee for the performances.

“An architectural gem for the senses!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

During our recent visit to Iceland, my travelling companion booked a concert - Pearls of Icelandic Song - at the Harpa. Upon arriving at Harpa, we felt like we stepped into a place where pure mystical magic takes place and delighted in the experiences. Not only is the exterior of the building exquisitely beautiful but so too the interior spaces and concert halls - kudos to the team that created this architectural gem. Cannot wait for my return visit!

“Harpa Centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

This building looks amazing from both the indside and the outside.
During the day you can go in and have a wander around and take pictures by yourself or they do offer tours but you have to pay for these.
If you are in Rekjvavik it is well worth a pop in.

“What an interesting building!”

Very interesting design, and a lot of fun to photograph. The store carries a lot of really interesting goodies too.
