“Great Way to Start a Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Great fun! We enjoyed seeing many sites we wouldn’t have known to visit and learning about Iceland’s characters, industries, places and politics from an inside point of view. The bikes were great and Stefan even lent us warmer coats to make the trip more comfortable. It was an easy ride with lots of stops that gave us lots of ideas about other things to check out in the city. An excellent way to start your Iceland experience, one of the best things we did while there!
After taking the tour you can then rent bikes at a 50% discount, which would have been a great way to get to more places in Reykjavik. In retrospect, we should have done this tour first and then left our schedule open for the next day to explore Reykjavik on bike. Definite things to do would be to listen to Stefan's recommendations for museums and to go to some of the public pool/hot pots (which are cheap and we found far more enjoyable than the blue lagoon). Then after seeing Reykjavik at our own pace, then we would have booked tours to see other parts of Iceland.

“Great way to explore Reykjavik”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

My group and I went on a tour with Stefan on our first day in Iceland. Even though we were jet lagged we managed to get through this tour. It is not strenuous at all, we made plenty of stops and learned a lot about Icelandic history, culture, and things to do around downtown. Stefan was enthusiastic and welcoming.

“Great fun for parents and children!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

It is a very relaxed way to dicover Reykjavik. Bedside the highlights, we also visited some "normal" neighbourhoods. That was fun, it gives a bit an impression of how Icelandic people live. Especially the hotdog-story was favorite for the children (11 years old). All the credits for Stefan, he was a wunderfull guide! So, if you'll visit Reykjavik: Don't mis this experience.

“Entertaining, a fun way to see the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

Guide was funny and informative, and obviously glowing with pride to show Iceland to visitors. I asked lots of questions about history, customs, and infrastructure, and he gave great answers to everything. His English was fluent. Would recommend for the first day of anyone's trip to Iceland!

Very interesting way to get an intro to Reykjavik. Highly recommend, especially the first day when you might be too jet-lagged to do anything else.
