“Good Indian Meat Soup”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

We stopped in on a cold rainy day and shared an indian meat soup in the bread bowl - DELICIOUS! The flavors were hearty and interesting. The service definitely was not bad - but was just average. people were friendly and it seemed to have a pub kind of vibe. The food was adequately priced, so that made me happy. would definitely come here again!

“Perfect for a cold day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

We stumbled into this place looking for a beer and to escape the rain, and were so pleasantly surprised. The two soups on offer were a meat soup, and a vegetarian Thai curry. We had the Thai curry and it was unbelievably delicious. Even with the deal for soup and a beer it was a bit more expensive than I expected, but so delicious and great ambiance, that it was definitely worth it.

Perfect stop in Reykjavik.

“The soup was ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

This place and it's bread bowl soups came highly recommended so we checked it out on a chilly day. It was Mexican or Italian soup that day and we both got the Mexican. It was kind of creamy but tasty. I wouldn't say it was amazing or worth it to go out of your way for it, but it was good. It was very busy and has become quite the tourist location. Just like all restaurants in Reykjavik you seat yourself. It was around $20 per person and you got the soup in a bread bowl along with some bread and butter.

“Great place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013 via mobile

During our stay in Reykjavik did we have lunch here. Of courses we had soup in a bun. The soup was good, the bun crisp, the beer cold, and the room jad a good feeling of a place that have served well for a long time.

“Well worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I loved this place so much we went twice in our 3 day trip! Not only is the soup some of the best I've had but even the bread it comes in is lovely! We are planning to go back to Iceland next year and will defiantly be going back here.
