“Great apartment in fab location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

This very modern, clean and well equipped apartment is in a very central location. The warmth is most welcome and the hot water plentiful (don't worry about the smell of sulphur!) Comfortable beds and sofas, free unlimited wifi and helpful reception staff and daily housekeeping. Great place to stay!

We had booked another top rated hotel from Trip Advisor. Two days before our departure, the apartment hotel that we booked said that they were overbooked and sent us to this hotel. I was worried because I was not sure what this apartment hotel would be like. The manager was very nice and accommodating. Our apartment was spacious with a nice living area and a large bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. The hotel was in a decent area, about a block from the Stroget shopping area and about two blocks from the waterfront area. The apartment had a little balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the street. There is a bakery next door which had some sandwiches and pastries for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was very clean. Only downside was that the parking lot across the street was a little small and tight, but other than that, everything was great! Hotels in Iceland are expensive so don't be surprised at rates.

Oh what a lovely place to stay and a lovely family running it. we really enjoyed our week here. This hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of almost all attractions.New year's eve was great and the fire works were best near this apartment hotel. The parents and daughter owners are there to guide and help. The apartment is quite large and very well maintained with excellent daily cleaning services. The kitchen is very modern and we made some lovely food with stuff bought at a super market next door. There is a wonderful bakery just across the street. We were in apt 201.

We were in Apt 203 for three nights between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Excellent location - far better than many of the hotels we saw. Spacious living room, immaculately clean (towels changed during our three night stay) and well equipped. Really friendly check in, even though we arrived early and we were left completely to our own devices, so felt as though we were in our own apartment not a complex. Heating so efficient we had it turned off most of the time. The second bedroom was a bit snug, but the living room has a sofa bed for 'spill over' space and there's a generous wardrobe/cupboard in the hall (that's the only reason I've marked it down - the main bedroom was great) . Would recommend this place in an instant and it worked out good value for two couples sharing.

We were in apartment 303 which was large, warm, clean, well equipped (lots of kitchen goodies) with nice touches like dishwasher tablets, iPod Dock, and loads of towels etc. Super clean. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, especially as we arrived earlier than the stated check in time.
However it's the location which makes this a real winner. Smack in the middle of the town but on a quiet side street so no noise. Supermarket round the corner, bakery opposite (excellent), liquor store about 10 mins walk away, more restaurants than you could possibly eat at, suiting all budgets (well, it's Reykjavik so from expensive to extortionate!) .

Would genuinely recommend.

Room Tip: A room with a balcony is an added bonus, especially for the new year fireworks!

We found these apartments to be in an excellent location of down town Reykjavik!!! It is so nice to back after a long day out and about to a comfortable space that is more than a hotel room.
The bed was comfortable, which is always a plus. The kitchen had the basics for cooking, which is handy if you don't want to eat out every day and night, as that can get expensive.
The apartments are good value for money.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
If we come back to Iceland, we would definitely stay here again.

We spent 4 nights in a deluxe 2 bedroom Reykjavik4you apartment on the main shopping street over Christmas. The apartment was very well fitted out and spacious and in a very good location with shops, restaurants and supermarkets within a few minutes walk. The pizza restaurant two doors down was a hit - the pizzas are fantastic!
