A local recommended this place to us. When my wife and I entered the restaurant (it is more a "fish shack" than a restaurant. All food is paid for at the cash counter when placing the order, and is delivered at the table by the serving staff), it was not quite clear to use what the protocol was. So we stood there for about a minute, when the "Sea Baron" (the owner, a retired fisherman named Kjartan Halldorsson) appeared, did not say a word, took us by the sleeve and led us to the cash counter which was located in a part of the shack not visible from where we were standing.
We ordered the lobster soup, scallops and salmon, and they were scrumptious. The staff were pleasant and friendly, and if you like ending your meal with a cuppa, they allow you to make your own for a princely sum of fifty Icelandic Krona !
