Iceland is full of amazing and beautiful sights, the vast majority of which are natural and/or geological.
But the locals are also capable of great splendour as well, something proved by this absolutely gorgeous sculpture on the seafront.
It's off the beaten track, down a few streets when looking parallel from Laugavegur and requiring a hop or two across the main road in/out of the city centre, but dodging traffic is hardly ever an issue here!
There it is - pointing majestically out to sea and looking absolutely amazing.
A better focal point in Reykjavik is hard to imagine. A must see.
