We stayed here the day we flew in and the night before we flew out from Keflavik. We had a large clean room and private bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of cheeses ,slices of cold meat, cereals, tea and coffee and fruit. The staff were very friendly and asked if we needed a lift to the airport but since we had a hire car we drove ourselves ( a drive of 5 minutes). It was so handy and the next morning we woke up refreshed ready for our 3 hour drive. We took a walk round the empty base at night which we found interesting: empty gyms ,a hospital , mattresses piled up, old fashioned TVs left in rooms......all locked up with notices saying : 'Restricted Access'. This hotel was ideal for first and last night stays.
