“Fantastic tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2012

We went on a snorkel tour with Finni, after Gisli organized/coordinated the trip with us from 3 months out. Everything went smoothly and the snorkel was well worth it. We weren't able to dive because I am not PADI certified, but the snorkel was just as amazing!

Would highly recommend. Dive.is/divethenorth.is also limit all groups to 4 people, which keeps it nice and small and you don't get lost in too large a group.

“Awesome day! One of the high points of our entire trip to Iceland!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2011

My husband and I recently did the NESGJÁ & STEKKJARGJÁ snorkel tour with Gisli and it was an absolutely fantastic day! It was one of our favorite days for both of us out of the entire trip.

We had reserved the Puffin Island tour but due to poor weather conditions, had to change plans to these fresh water canyons. They canyons were truly beautiful and it was quite an experience to be snorkeling in cold water. We were lucky and saw some large fish (trout and carp) and all kinds of interesting plant and rock formations. Gisli threw in some extras because he felt bad about the weather. He took us snorkeling in a warm pond that had hot springs boiling under the sand, he brought us to Asbrygi, and we made a quick stop at a black sand beach along the coast.

There was also good food and good conversation, so all in all it was a great day! Gisli also showed us a number of his photographs of the dive locations - he is a very talented photographer.

Hopefully we'll be back to Iceland sometime after getting our scuba dive certifications... diving at these locations would be even more fun!
