I was slightly disappointed by the evening having read some good reviews on Trip Advisor. I found it slightly shabby inside - grey plastered walls - I wasn't sure if this was for 'a look' or if they were mid-way refurbishment. Anyway, returned two months later and it still looked the same! Situated in a nice place by the river on a pleasant day when you can sit outside, but otherwise if you sit inside you could be anywhere. Lighting can be dull, tables a bit squashed in and not very much atmosphere. It feels almost a bit of a 'student place' but for the price - I wouldn't have thought so! The food was OK - a caesar salad, it was a bit dry and lacking in any taste, most definitely nothing worthy of recommending and then the meat main course - well this again was OK, but not a particularly good cut and certainly not worthy of the price paid for it. Maybe the menu is too extensive and they would be better off concentrating on doing fewer dishes but better. Was surprised that it was quite busy with families and there were children running around and making a noise which is fine during the day - but not really at 9pm. The whole place seemed a bit chaotic and they seemed unsure as to who they are really targetting or trying to appeal to and indeed which type of food they want to offer or specialise in. I certainly wouldn't be put off eating there again, but there are nicer places to eat in Turku.
