I have visited in Ilves many times during my business trips. I use a Sokos Hotell - chain a lot and this is best hotel in. Rooms are very clean . You even get luxury in basic rooms witch are spacious and big enough. Service is good and you have plenty of choices in restaurants. One I have to mention is breakfast. It is my favourite in Finland.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Even the price is not cheapest in Tampere it's worth paying. Beautiful, good-located hotel is definately the best in Tampere.

Ilves is a big hotel with clean and nicely decorated rooms. There is also a spa at the hotel which includes nice sauna and three different swimming pools. Also little gym located in spa area but it wasn't big and equipment there wasn't that good. During Christmas time pool bar wasn't open but normally it serves cold drinks for spa visitors.

A big and famous hotel in Finland. Voted for exellence of something 2012 by Trip Advisor. Three restaurants for different price categories and a big bar and a cool night club.
There were nice views to the city from our window but you can also see to another room if they/you don't put curtains on... We found a couple of little rubbish but they were on the place nobody usually watch.
A gym was enough for us and if you need more there are plenty of gyms very near in the city. A sauna and a swimming pool were next to the gym.

Nowadays I only book this hotel when visiting Tampere. Great, central location.

Breakfast is okay. I like those omelets they make. There is also one of the best restaurants in Tampere next to reception. It´s called Masuuni. Do visit there!

Rooms are tidy and in my opinion quite spacious for solo business traveller. Staff is nice and friendly. I can warmly recommend this hotel.
