Cosy and smallish Italian restaurant almost behind the north east corner of Senaatintori. It is the oldest italian restaurant in Helsinki established by ship cook Rolf Sjöberg in 1970. The food like fresh pasta and sauces are made in house.
Very friendly and good service. A long menu to select from. Had an excellent three course menu with seafood pizza as a main course. The dessert House ice cream is during Christmas time made of cookies and white chocolate - mmm! Nice celebration of 12.12.12.
Be prepared to book ahead during weekends and high seasons. The website is in Finnish but the a ala carte there also in Swedish and in English.
