We had lunch in Belge around 1pm. Price for lunch was 10e including basic salad buffet, bread and a plate of food + coffee/tea - no complaints there since it's in par with surrounding restaurants.
To make long story short, service was typical 90's stuff, where the staff won't greet customers coming in or going out, but they are happy to give you the bill for your lunch at the same minute you order the food. And needless to say, nobody will ever ask if you liked your food, and what would it matter because you've paid for it before you ever saw or tasted it.
Anyways, we had two different dishes: one with potatoes, cream and reindeer meat. The other was pasta with blue mussels. Not going into too much details, the food looked good for a lunch plate but it became sort of obvious why there was a foot tall salt container on the table. The food had no taste in it what so ever.
So, as a conclusion after just these two dishes, this won't be my new favorite lunch place in Helsinki.
