“The design hotel for years!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

This hotel is the reference hotel were business people, creatives feel at home. Interior is after many years still modern/stylish, the food and cocktails still great and the atmosphere un changed. The living room is the lobby area were you can work, chat, chill. The bars to enjoy and the italian restaurant to enjoy.

The hotel is really central to many shopping, dinning and noght live possebilities. A nice creative interiour and friendly service make Klaus K to a perfect location to stay for a trip to HEL. Main shopping street, harbour is all in walking distance.

Fantastic hotel centrally located in the middle of Helsinki. Was upgraded to a larger room by a very attentive and welcoming staff. Nice design and comfortable bed. Breakfast was assorted and not to crowded. Tried the Italian restaurant the first evening and was not disappointed. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in Helsinki.

Excellent hotel in superb place - just on the border of the main shopping street and the design district with all its shops and restaurants. Rooms very nice but a little small. Lovely bathrooms and nice toiletries. Excellent, enormous breakfast with sociable hours (til 11, so often hotel breakfast finishes too early) and lots of great options for food allergies (gluten free etc) as well as good choice overall. Hotel staff superb - gave us a room with a bathtub and arranged a cot without any trouble. And chambermaids dealt very kindly with us despite all the mess and hassle of a baby. Would definitely stay here again.

The Design was disappointing given the chance they have to add some fantastic Scandinavian and native Finish design the atmosphere was a unsuccesful mix of maritime and Italian with very small rooms. However the breakfast was great compared to the price of other Helsinki Hotels. I would have rated this hotel one point higher if they had not claimed to be a design hotel.

We chose the hotel based on recommendations from friends and good reviews. The location was excellent, service very friendly, the breakfast good and we also got a quiet room as requested (in the end of a corridor facing inner yard. We had a Passion Double Room, which had I guess everything that was promised in the description, but I think some practicalities could be better arranged. 1) The room is quite small, there's not really room to open a big suit case (let alone two), and also no closets or drawers where you could empty your things if staying longer. 2) There was a side table only on one side of the bed. 3) The controlling of the lighting was kind of complicated, and the main switch turned all of the electricity off as well. So if you want to charge your phone/camera/whatever during the night/day, don't use the main switch. 4) The pillows in the room were terrible, but you have several pillow options. You just need to ask for them from the reception, and at least for us they were delivered quickly.

All in all a good hotel experience, but I was a little disappointed anyway - guess I was expecting too much.

Very nice staff. The sky loft is worth its price. The two breakfast buffets are fantastic and so is the in-hotel restaurant the Toscanini. I would go again any time.
The location is very close to public transportation, also lots of shipping possibilities and restaurants within walking distance
