We'd not seen anything like this in Australia as used to outdoor covered areas being part of shopping malls but Kamppi had none.Very austere building.
The lower level has a bus station located right near the supermarket entrance which we found odd and there didn't appear to be anywhere to purchase tickets from an actual person so we preferred to walk to the main coach station.
The stores appeared to be on the expensive side and only saw one chain type store-all others looked like brand names but could be wrong.
We didn't see an information booth despite going there every day.Had never had to pay to use toilets before so also found that a strange experience.
Would only recommend going here to buy anything if you are desperate or staying nearby and wish to purchase groceries-there are 2 largish supermarkets and all staff seemed to speak English which was very helpful.
Was told there was a movie theatre somewhere but never found it.
Be aware that for whatever reason,Finnish people seem to like to take their dogs everywhere, which is allowed,so don't be surprised to even see them in the supermarkets walking along with their owners.
