We booked a table for business meeting, arrived on time and ordered longest menu plus the most expensive wine package from the list.
The food was rushed in the table before the previous dish was eaten. During the final course were asked, if we wanted coffee and cognac. We had them but didn't have time to drink them on the table, because we were asked to move to "bar". Nobody was waiting in the restaurant, but apparently they had another reservation for that table.
My business associates and I have eaten in various restaurants around the world, but not ever before have we been rushed and asked to give up the table, before the dinner had been consumed. The right question would have been, if we would like to have more cognac...
Unfortunately, according to my other business associates, who eat a lot in Helsinki, this seems to be the case in other restaurants as well, which work under the same branch. They book the restaurants too full.
I gave a feedback from our experience and the restaurant apologized, but it seems that this kind of service is more likely to be a custom. Too long menus for the time allowed to consume it.
So make sure that you order just the amount of food for the time you are allowed to stay or make sure beforehand you will have the table for the rest of the evening.
Boulevard Social was not social for us. More likely shut up, eat and leave :)
Food was good though.
