This is a typical Holiday Inn, friendly staff, and a standard restaurant. The rooms are hot and dry and if you open the windows (only a little is possible) there's a lot of noice if your room has a street view. So always ask for an inside view, not a street room. prices are OK, taxis plenty in front. Nothing fancy, but it is OK.

Good location for the airport bus as it drops off straight in front of hotel. Room was clean if not a little bit dated. Lots of construction going on around the hotel at the time. Quite expensive for what you get, but this is Helsinki!

This Holiday Inn was very comfortable and extremely well located. It is next door to the railway station and the airport bus is only a few metres from the front door. The main bus station is only a few blocks away..Finland is great for modern design so it was also great that a wonderful museum of modern art was only a short walk. I found the staff very helpful and had one pleasant meal in the restaurant. I did not have breakfast in the hotel but walked around the neighbourhood and enjoyed finding interesting Finnish treats to eat for breakfast. I was there at the end of May and it was fun seeing the locals all enjoying sitting in outdoor cafes near the hotel in the late evening sun. I loved Helsinki and if I go back I will stay here again.

We only stayed one night, as we were travelling home via Helsinki from our enjoyable stay in Tallinn. The hotel is very centrally located near the Railway Station. It was ideally placed for us as the connection to both the Tallinn Ferry (tram 9) and the airport (Finnair shuttle bus) was so facile and efficient.
