5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed for 3 nights. Had never been to Helsinki before and the staff were so incredibly helpful. Gave us the best advice for catching public transport, gave us bowls so we could eat an early breakfast before our early flight, this might not be five star but it's ten star service

We spent 6 nights in hotel finn. Our room was clean, the interior was modern and everything seemed to be new.

The location of the hotel couldnt have been better. It was directly in the city center. Though when you're looking for a very quiet place this might be the wrong choice.

Nevertheless I really enjoyed staying there.

Good location. This hotel resembles an upscale hostel with basic room and hotel facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a major downside for me as it is seperated from the room only by frosted glass and your roommate gets a full view of the shower and toilet. The rooms are also noisy as you can hear other guests hallway conversations from your room, which can be particularly noisy on a friday/Saturday nights.

This is a "GOOD" basic place. It was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a compact room with two very comfortable beds that could be nicely pushed together. There was plenty of compartmentalised closed storage space in the room. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The view was of the windows of a similar nearby building across a small fully paved service area/inner courtyard. The room's decor was mostly black and white; faux black brick in the washroom, whitish walls, and dark faux wood flooring. There were a couple original coarse colored sketched artwork pieces securely attached to the walls by visible screws that added to the art's edgy look.

The eccentric layout of the washroom was a bit tight; the actual commode was in the shower stall area. The foot space in front of the commode included the aluminum track for the shower doors. There was a relatively large clear glass wall separating the washbasin in the washroom area from the rest of the room. It allowed for not only light from outside, but a complete clear view of the outside from the commode and vise versa. The relative invisibility of this glass wall also proved problematic for accidental impact at night when combined with drowsiness and a low light level.

Thank you for your review! It is nice to hear that you were satisfied with your stay. According to your description you stayed in a room, which has a bit special, experimental bathroom design. We’ve listened the feedback from our guests and we are going to rebuild it into a bit more traditional one.
You’re warmly welcome again!

It's an OK hotel. No noise from the street or the other rooms.
The staff was very nice, young people willing to help.
It is perfectly located, close to train station, main streets, restaurants etc....

We stayed at Hotel Finn for 3 nights.
Room is big enough for 2 people and our 2 big luggages and very clean. Looks like newly renovated. We expected the bathroom to be small so we do not have complain on that. There is hair dryer in the room. Although no kettle, you can get hot water just outside the reception area.
Located in very central area where you can walk to most places. Opposite Stockmann which make it more perfect. The airport bus is within 10 minutes walk.
There is no breakfast but you can pay EUR 7 for a buffet breakfast at the restaurant next door. I will say go to McDonald or Burger King nearby.
All staff we met were friendly and helpful with our questions.
Very enjoyable stay.

Thank you for your review!
You’re right, most of our rooms have been renovated recently. We are going to place kettles in some of our room categories soon! On our opinion our location couldn’t be better – just a few steps from Stockmann’s department store, for example. From summer 2015 our connections to the airport will be even more convenient, as the new airport rail line will be ready.
Thank you for your visit – you’re welcome again!
