We spent 2 nights in a family cabin (bedroom with twin beds and 2 more beds in lounge area) in early October 13 at a cost of £185 in total, pretty good value for Finland. The camp site is operated by the local authority and situated next to the Metro ration at Rastila, a 15 minute ride from Helsinki city centre. The cabins are spotless and well-equipped, beds very comfortable, red squirrels shared our breakfast pastries on the verandah. A lovely retreat from the bustle of a city holiday. There is supposed to be a restaurant on site but it didn't open the evenings we were there so don't rely on it out of season. A very good alternative to an expensive city centre hotel.
