“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013

We stayed in Big Blue for about 6 days on July of 2013. The place is runned by the adorable Mr. Stefanos and his children who were all creating a really family-like and cozy atmosphere. The room we stayed in was great, the view was excellent and the whole place is on key location (away enough from the center to feel relaxed, but only a 5 minute walk to the port and everything you need). For breakfast you have many choices between homemade cake, marmelade, eggs, freshly baked bread etc. In our opinion, Aigiali is the place to stay if you visit Amorgos and Big Blue is the place to stay if you want a relaxed stay.

The rooms are very cute and have lovely balcony from where you can see the beautiful sunset. Beds and bedding are of good quality, therefore comfortable.
Breakfast is very good quality compared to most hotels, slightly different everyday with homemade cake, well balanced and fresh! homemade jams are a must.
This place is run by a lovely family, very easy going yet professional, helping everyone to feel home. The jacuzzi and bar area where you also have breakfast is just perfect as it has one of the best sunset view. It is also only 5 min away from the port so quiet yet practical.
Thank you for an amazing, chilled, relaxing stay!

I have been at the "Big Blue" 2 times and i'm still planning to visit again! The fantastic panoramic view from the rooms it's the best you can get enjoying a breakfast or just relaxing and chatting with friends or loved ones in the evening. Pavlos and his family are perfect hosts and genuine people who will be happy to help their guests to get the best of the place and all the good things Amorgos has. Great food, very beautiful towns and villages with genuine site and places to see. And of course the Big Blue sea with the crystal clear waters...

We stayed about 2 weeks in August in this beautiful place!
The view on the bay is wonderfull, the structure is clean, confortable (private bathroom and balcony tonthe sea) and about 7 minutes by foot to the main centre/port of the island and to the one of the best restaurant of the Cyclades!
You can do everyday a good homemade breakfast seeing the blu sea, in a familiar and nice atmosphere, with the breeze and soft music.
The owners are very friendly and available, they showed us the beautifull of Amorgos too and the structture is also very convenient for the low price (price/quality) and for taking ship to the other islands.
We suggest it!

Excellent view to Aigiali bay and unique sunset right from our balcony. The owner, Mr Stefanos, very sweet and helpful, rooms decorated mainly with beautiful small sea shells – in a few words: very clean and comfortablerooms, great value for money – best view – definitely recommended!
