Early flight from Manchester, checked in the day before our flight so gave us a little more time in the morning, also no huge queus to wait in!!
We went with First Choice and the cabin crew were friendly and very festive!
Arrived in Rovaniemi around 12.30 (local time) then we were taken to collect our snow suites, so wear warm clothes on the flight because there is some waiting around before you get to the hotel.
One of my biggest concerns was what to pack? Well all you really need to pack is thermal underwear, fleece and jogging bottoms everything else that you need is provided.
The one thing i would say about this is to get your child a very bright scarf, because once everybody has there snow suit on they all look the same (especially when the hoods are up!)
So a bright scarf will make it easier to find your child.
There were four of us on our holiday, myself, my son who is 13 and has special needs, also his nan and grandad came to, we stayed at the Hotel Santa Claus, it was a nice hotel and the rooms are a good size and are very clean.
Its situated right in the centre of town so great for all the shops, the restaurantin the hotel is good and the bar serves snacks.
We really enjoyed the activitys and they were well organised, the santa park was a little rushed because of all the queus so a little longer there would be good, my son loved santa villege because he got to ride a ski-doo.
Also crossing the Artic circle was good fun!!
We were sad to leave and a great holiday was had by all!!
