You must explore all the Island of Ko Samui, by scooter or by car, and this resort is really beautiful and a great base to stay with your family or friends.
The staff is very nice and friendly.
Breakfast at the resort is very good.

Room Tip: The villas are all very nice, those close to the beach are the best. You need to rent a motorbike to...

Just back from spending a week in Samui Beach Village. It is the most luxurious and cleanest resort I have ever stayed in. The staff were top class especially James who constantly went out of his way to accommodate us and always had a smile on his face. We stayed in Baan Flora and Baan Oasis. Both 5 star luxury. The restaurant served top quality food at very good prices. The complex itself is a bit outside the main town and a taxi is necessary to get around but at roughly ten euro to carry ten people most nights to the town you couldn't complain!!

Dear Hannah,

Thank you for spending your holiday with us, here at Samui Beach Village we aim to please and hearing the wonderful feedback from our guests makes all our efforts worthwhile. I am glad we were your little piece of paradise, we are a good 15 minutes away from the the busy resort of Lamai but with our daily free shuttle service to Lamai and Chaweng we hope that our guests are happy to mix the hustle and bustle of the towns with the relaxation they can find in Samui Beach Village!

If you are ever in Samui again we would love to see you!

Kindest regards,

We arrived at Samui Beach Village in the evening, and we received a warm welcome, and then we were driven in the electric car to our ocean room. It was a wonderful view from the room - there was such a beautiful beach in the front of the room, apart from the "private pool" which we had to share only with the family in the ground floor room.

The room was quite good with comfy sleeping and other arrangements. It was clean and well decorated. The complimentary breakfast was also quite good, and they obliged to prepare special pure vegetarian food for us on all days of our stay. They even offered a free service to drop and pick us from the nearby Lamai beach (since we decided not to drive on our own)

All in all, we just loved our stay at this resort, and it was the most memorable time we spent on our honeymoon, with the resort getting 10/10 for this retreat :)

Room Tip: Alls good about the rooms and Villas, go choose an ocean room right towards the beach if you're...

We have just returned from spending 11 nights at the Samui Beach Village resort. We stayed in Baan Oasis door the first week and a double Ocean room for the remainder. (2 adults and 2 children)

if you are looking for perfect 5 star Hotel facilities you might be able to pick a few holes with the resort. However if you are looking for something special with bundles of character and a team of staff who are absolutely devoted to making your stay so enjoyable then stay here!!! I wouldn't stay anywhere else!!!

We encountered a few hiccups with our stay, not the resorts fault, and it was how they tried to help us that made this resort stand out.

Baan Oasis was lovely, very spacious and comfortable with a fabulous pool. The Ocean rooms were a little secluded , that's a positive for us and the views were breathtaking. The beach was lovely and quiet and great to take a stroll around sunset.

Very family friendly resort and Harry misses Pui!!!

housekeeping was very good and again nothing was too much trouble for the resort.

we had an all meals included package which was great as the food was lovely however I do agree with another review that bottled water should be offered complimentary at meal times.

The team organised car hire, boat trips and we're always on hand to give us advice on where to go.

The team here are exceptional. Phill & Jane were lovely and really seemed to care about their guests. Lif, James, Anny, Pui to name a few were so very welcoming. A special mention has to go to Emma & Sai at reception, they really are outstanding ambassadors for the resort. We look forward to seeing you next year and thank you all!!

Our family of 15 stayed in July 1013 at the resort in July to celebrate our father's birthday. We had 2 villas booked for us (Villa Chang and Villa Orchid).
What an amazing holiday it was at one of the friendliest resorts that we have stayed in...
The energy and enthusiasm of the staff was a pleasure, the personal pools in the villas were clean and well maintained, the service was a near perfect....
The villas are well appointed and the staff was very receptive to some of the suggestions we gave and the positive attitude towards feedback made the experience a very pleasant one for all of us.

The buffet breakfast had plenty of choices and the pancakes were delicious. All of the food that we tried ( including the pizzas!) was well made and packed with flavour.

I would really like to make a special mention of all the staff at both the restaurant and the front office who were always willing to go out of their way to help us. Emma, Sai , Ali , Pui and all the others were wonderful.
Emma visited to check if we were happy and satisfied with our villas- that is the mark of a well run resort:). Emma came over to check on my aged parents the one day that the rest of us were all out for the whole day which once again shows how thoughtful and caring the people at the resort are.
This was truly a memorable vacation for us and we hope to visit sometime in the near future again.

Party of 6 stayed in Baan Suay villa in March on our first trip to Thailand with a view to attending a friends wedding and combining with a family holiday.

Arrangements were easy to make with the resort and the driver was waiting for us on our arrival at Koh Samui. We were greeted by Lift who was so friendly, just like all the other staff at the resort. We were quickly transferred to our villa which was just as stated in the photos and was so clean and well maintained.

Unfortunately I was hospitalized shortly after arriving due to unknown glandular fever at the time of travel. This was a very worrying time for all the family, however Phil and his wife made all the arrangements for transport to and from hospital and looked after my family whilst i was in intensive care. They couldn't have been more accommodating and when i returned after 2 nights in hospital, they provided me with a giant fan, so that I can enjoy sitting around the pool at our private villa.

We had already booked a private chef for one night which was outstanding and James our waiter was exceptionally friendly and professional and made the whole experience really pleasurable. The chef was fantastic also. The food in general at the resort was outstanding with plenty of choice and excellent value for money.

One other member of staff that made our trip particularly memorable was Chang. What an asset he is to the resort. Can't praise him enough. All of the staff at Samui Beach Village are so friendly and make you feel at home whilst thousands of miles away.

Apologies to everyone at the resort for the delay in writing this review, this is due to a prolonged recovery. We would like to thank you all for making the holiday so special, and for making my family feel relaxed and cared for during a difficult time. We all managed, despite the circumstances, to have a fantastic time and cant wait to return.

We would not hesitate in recommending this resort to others and when next visiting Koh Samui, SBV would be our first choice.

Thanks again and well done to all, a truly magnificent resort.

Room Tip: Baan Suay was really well placed for enjoying the entire resort whilst remaining very private.

I have just spent 7 nights at the Baan Oasis with 7 friends for a 40th birthday. First off I would say I would stay again in this villa. It was a prefect way to celebrate and a perfect place to relax!

I do have a few details I think need addressing. The exterior of the building is starting to show a lot of wear and tear. The timber needs to be painted or stained again. The roof over the pool cabana needs some work and the tiles around the pool could do with a good pressure clean. But honestly I did not care about these once I was sitting around the pool or in the pool. Inside the property is good and clean. However it was annoying to see the washing machine taken out of the room but the dryer remained.

Everyone found the beds to be hard but the pillows were nice.

We all loved the service especially the restaurant staff Pui, James and Dah. These 3 staff made our group part of the family. Not all staff had the same attitude though. We had once one incident when a staff member waked into the villa without knocking and into the bedroom of a couple at 8am in the morning! Again he did not knock. The girls in the room were not impressed. But we spoke to the resort manager and she was horrified that this had happened and we believed it was a training issue. I feel confident that it would of been addressed.

The only other issue I found was the 4th bedroom. We travelled as 8 adults but this villa is really 3 double bedrooms and the 4th has 4 single beds. Not good for adults but we managed. The beds were only to sleep in. Also if you were in the 4th bedroom you had to go via the 3rd bedroom to get to it. I stayed in the 3rd bedroom and had no issues with people going through my room. But it would be nice to know this before travelling. As I did not book this myself it might of been told.

Overall, I loved this property. yes it has bad points but what property doesn't? I should know as I work in the travel industry and visit many resorts and hotels. My friends pointed out I could see all the faults due to my career. But my holiday eyes took over quite quickly and I just simply loved staying here. I would book this villa again but maybe only for 6 adults not 8. or 6 adults and 4 kids.

Room Tip: Looking at all the villas at this property I feel this had the best pool! Also the villas opposite u...

Dear Matt Boof R,

Thank you for staying with us at Samui Beach Village and thank you for taking the time to post your review! And thank you for your feedback which is very important to us so we can keep improving our service to our guests.
We give each villa a complete refurbishment every two years to keep interior and exteriors fresh and looking as new, with Baan Oasis the refurbishment process is booked later this year in October.
We have now addressed all new staff training issues so there will be no further incidents like your experience.
We are delighted your overall stay was fantastic, it's really great to hear such wonderful words about our resort, the staff who do go out of their way to make our guests feel part of Samui Beach Village.
