The journey to this side of the island is a little bumpy, but worth it when you arrive! The beach is gorgeous, a tiny little bay with white sands, warm sea and surrounded by a jungle backdrop. When we first arrived, it felt really quiet but the bars and restaurants liven up in the evening and one night we were treated to a night of fire-dancing! It's a small beach, with not a huge amount going on but perfect if you want unspoilt paradise and don't want to be in the middle of a full moon party on had rin beach. There is also a little village 2 minutes walk away from the resort, with a couple of shops, restaurants and tour agencies. The resort itself was definitely the most poplular on this beach, the bungalows are perfect for the location and very clean. The swimming pool is stunning, right on the beach so you can swim with a seaview! The restaurant also does lovely food and the staff always went out of their way to say 'hello'. I would definitely reciommend it.
