“Sherry and Rich--Wonderful Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

We spent two nights In this wonderful little inn in the first week of June. When we arrived we were met in the parking lot by Paul, one of the owners, who welcomed us and showed us to our room. Both Paul and Lee are very personable and made us feel so very welcome and comfortable. They even contacted us to let us know when an attraction we were planning on visiting was closed. We had the blue room in the coach house. It was private and charming. We didn't have our evening meal there but the breakfasts were delicious. We would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quite and relaxing getaway!!

Spent a wonderful weekend at Jackson Falls Country Inn in April. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Lee and Paul were excellent hosts, making us feel very much at home. There is much to explore in the area - breath taking scenery and the County Cider Company and Black River Cheese are a must visit. Look forward to returning soon.

Room Tip: I stayed in the Tottenham Room which was a big room with a lovely private terrace but also took a lo...

I've stayed here on a weekend group bike trip for the last four Junes. This year the trip was so popular that we couldn't all fit at the Inn but all our meals and gatherings were at the Inn. It is a wonderful place to stay alone or as in our case, to take over the Inn with a whole group of people. Lovely grounds to sit and chat after a day of cycling in the county; several cozy gathering spots indoors and outdoors for large and small groups; and comfortable rooms to stay in. The atmosphere is charming , the food good and Lee and her partner are warm and welcoming hosts, full of tips and ideas about what to do and where to go in the county.

We were a large group of Wheelwomen staying with Lee and Paul for our cycling weekend in the county. The Inn is a very special place to stay. Their generosity and enthusiasm definitely added to the weekend and the hosts go out of their way to please. Paul graciously helped us unload our bikes and couldn't do enough to make our stay more welcoming. I, myself ran a bed and breakfast for a number of years and can appreciate all the hard work that goes behind the scenes. Lee's culinary skills were amazing and it is a rare host who cooks a group of 30 people Paella for dinner....Well done and my very personal thanks to you both......
I will most definitely stay with you on any future visit to the county.

Room Tip: I am sure all rooms are comparable.

If you want a nice relaxing weekend getaway, this is the place for you. We will be back and are recommending to our friends.

We stayed in the Green room located in the Coach House. It was spacious and country chic. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there was a wonderful sitting area. There was also a large deck, shared with the other room located in the Coach House. I would recommend sitting in the wonderful yard overlooking the green fields.

We met Lee and Paul in the morning while eating an amazing gourmet breakfast, yum! Breakfast was served in an old school house and started off with fresh fruit, orange juice and warm scones with butter. Then we were served fresh cut home fries with an arugula/cheese omelet, it was delicious.

One highlight was waking up to the sound of water rolling down the stream, a nice change from the hustle and bustle of city noise. I also loved how welcoming Lee and Paul were. Once we introduced ourselves they did not forget our names, like they knew us for years. They were full of ideas for exploring the area and their B&B can offer you many different packages if you enquire, including, on-site cheese and wine pairings, spa services. You name it Lee will organize.

Thanks for the lovely stay!

We stumbled upon this country inn last July while desperately in need of a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We arrived to a gracious host (Lee) who made us feel at home. Our room was clean and fresh with beautiful flowers and country decor. We had a perfectly quiet outdoor space to cuddle and unwind. We asked Lee for recommendations for food, entertainment and adventure and she knew exactly what we needed.....she packed us a picnic basket, sent us to a few great wineries and stuffed us full of all that we needed for a romantic, secluded picnic on the beach. We watched the sunset and were excited for the return to our bed after a well ventured day in the county. Lee and Paul are warm, welcoming, and hip and we knew right away we would be back again. Fast forward to April and we returned with plans to hold our wedding at the Inn. We were nervous to approach them but upon arrival quickly remembered that the inn feels like "a home away from home." Thank you Lee and Paul for sharing the beauty of your land and home....we can't wait to party and marry there in the fall.

Room Tip: The suite is sweet.

Thank you both for your lovely review. We are very much looking forward to hosting your wedding. It's one of the best compliments to us to hear that we are like a "home-away-from-home", it's what we aim to do.

Looking forward to seeing you and your friends later this year.

All the best
