We booked this place after walking past during the day and thinking it looked quite inviting.
It's not a big place and we took the last table on our arrival at 8pm.
Specialities seem to be steak but we both had a lamb dish that was bursting with flavour accompanied by a lovely (and reasonably-priced) red that the proprietor chose for us.
Aside from the quality of the food, it was the informality of the place that drew us in. We had a good chat with the owner who seems like a lovely guy and goes out of his way to make his guests feel comfortable.
Highly recommended if you want good food in an unfussy and charming environment.
