“Best indian cousine?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2012

Well i have been dining here since 1996 and they have never failed on any recipe.I have taken indian friends from New Delhi, that said it tasted just like home.
Their chicken tikka sizzlar is amazing but watch out for their vindaloo, vindaloo is like going to hell and never coming back.Vindaloo is a hot hot dish, so stick to their Kormas,Masalas and Tandori.
Service can be little harsh as the waiters is stressed and you order and pay to the cashier. Then you receive a cupon and can sit anywhere at the restaurant.
So do you go for the great food?or for a waiter that sweet talks you, just to get a big tip?Thought so=)No tipping here or 10% on the bill, service is free.
This restaurant reminds me of the soup-nazi in Seinfield, but it´s more friendly.Even if they get tired of hearing the wrong sayings of their precious dishes.*lol*

“You get what you pay for.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2012

Not the best Indian in town, but it's pretty cheap and that makes it worth the money. The service isn't good thou.

“...well I quite liked it... maybe I have bad taste!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2010

I went here on Tuesday (22/06) and quite liked mine. I wanted something off menu and they prepared a really good spinach and lentil dansak for me which came with rice. Their nan bread was good too.

You order at the counter and then the food arrived very quickly (it wasn't busy when we went around 8pm, although the day before it looked packed around 7pm).

Nothing amazing but perfectly nice in my eyes. Decently priced for Stockholm. Good for veggies like myself too.

“Bad food in the Indira restaurant”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2009

We're a ovo-lacto vegetarian couple from India always searching for decent food options when we travel.
(i.e. we eat eggs & dairy products but no meat & no fish)

We didn't like the food here at all. Though the taste was tolerable, we fell slighly ill after eating here ... giving me serious doubts about the hygene level in their kitchen.
