“Travel the world in an hour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

This was a great place to visit, this modern museum is small but it was packed full of exhibits from all over the world.

It's not very 'Swedish' as such, so if you're only in Sweden/Stockholm for a limited time there are probably better things to do.

It's also located beside some free museums such as the Sports museum and Maritime museum.

“incredible museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

This museum is staggering - they have so many amazing collections on 2 floors. So varied, not paintings, all other kinds of pieces collected from other cultures. Charming staff who will help you and answer any questions + a decent cafe! Enjoy Stockholm - the Venice of the North!

“Rating the museums restaurant Matmekka”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

The restaurants seem to think that just by adding " organic" to their menu the food will automatically taste good. That is not the case at this nicely decorated restaurant. The service is good and the location is great but the kitchen is a bit confused, mixing swedish ( game) with asian without success. There are other places nearby with better food and nice view. Sorry to say this was our second visit, and no improvement at all.

“Only if youre realy interested”

Too much of things in a small museum. It was confusing us. We didnt know where to start, where to end. A museum without a structure. Didnt like it

“Good exhibition”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

The last time I visited was to see the exhibition on Vodoo (Haiti) which was quite good. It really gave you a good insight both in vodoo and in the exciting history of Haiti. The museum has exhibits from various parts of the world where Swedish explorers have been (that's the way it started anyway). Recently an impressive totem pole from NW USA was returned to the native Indians there, but there are other things left. It's a medium size museum and OK. You can easily combine it with either the Technical or the Sea Historical museums.
