We spent four nights at this hotel, and must say, it was worth every penny. It was recently renovated, so the place is stylish as hell, very modern and clean,
The room was gorgeous, with a flat screen tv and the most comfortable hotel beds ever. Bathrooms were nice and clean.
The bar fridge is a bit of a swindle (alcohol is generally expensive in Sweden, but this place was over the top). If you're in town for more than a couple of days, it's worth heading to one of the liquor stores in the area. Other stores only sell beer, no wine.
There's free internet access in a room just off the bar, which is great -- you can catch up on your e-mail while listening to some pretty great music.
The breakfast buffet was sweet -- a good variety of cereals, breads, fresh veggies, eggs (hardboiled, scrambled and made-to-order omelets) bacon, etc. If you can get a reservation that includes breakfast, go for it. My boyfriend was thrilled with with place.
The location of the hotel is also perfect. It's across the street from the Central Station, so even if you fly in, you can take the Arlanda Express to the station, and boom, there you are.
Lots of attractions (Vasa museum, Old Town, NK department store, water tours, etc.) are all less than 30-minute walks away).

Nice 5 star hotel located next to Gamla Stan and Central Train Station. We did not have to take any taxis or public transportation as all the attractions were within walking distance.

The hotel bar was nice with great cocktails and tasteful hamburgers ! The rooms were recently renovated with flat TV screens and satellite channels.

There was a problem with hot water, nevertheless the hotel management compensated for not having a technician on site with a bottle of champagne ; the problem was fixed the following morning.

I believe that for a Sheraton, our experience was above average.

Myself and a friend stayed at the Sheraton last Friday for two nights. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried that we were heading to a building site but there was no evidence of that at all! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our twin rooom had wonderful facilities, flat screen TV, plenty of free toiletries and the best thing by far was the beds! The most comfortable beds ever! The decor was modern and the whole hotel was clean. My friend fell in love with the sauna, there is also a gym but unfortunately no pool! Our room faced the road but it wasn't noisy. Great central location too. All in all a great stay, great hotel and great beds!

We arrived at the Sheraton hotel after a short, 5 minute walk from the central train and bus station. It could not have been any easier to find. We walked into the beautiful lobby and bar area. The staff at check in were very friendly and spoke perfect English, whic we appreciated.

The room was very modern, clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is ideal! It is less than a 5 minute walk over to Gamla Stan, which is the history-rich, darling island.

The very kind staff helped us with directions and dinner reservations at Nalen, which was a superb choice. We hit the Ice Bar, which we would highly recommend. It is in the Nordic Sea Hotel and is less than a 10 minute walk from the Sheraton.

There was no construction on this hotel as of late November. It is a beautiful, well-kept facility with a very service-friendly staff. We would highly recommend the Stockholm Sheraton for someone wanting to explore the city by foot and be in the center of it all.
