On most business trips to Stockholm I tend to make the lonely, dinner for one walk to this joint. It somehow manages to capture the feeling(ish) of Texas in a place a few hundred kilometres from the arctic circle - no mean feat!
The staff are friendly and helpful (hands covered in sauce prompts a wipe to be opened and offered by the waiter, without asking).
If you fancy a no-frills good burger and accompaniments, then this is the place. Reasonably priced too, by Swedish standards.
You can have pretty much any topping you could think of and the main comes with a side of nice coleslaw, pickle and fries. Speaking of which - everything else in this place is good, so why then offer fries with hardly any flavour and over-cooked. Daft touch.
If you have room, take a starter and go for the ribs. Meat falls off nicely and the sauce is thick, rich and dark - although it could be served with just a little less smothering.
One comment on the pepper sauce for the burger - add more pepper! After a taste sensation on the ribs, the main event (burger) somewhat pales by comparison on the taste stakes and I ended up adding more Texas sauce, which brought it back to life nicely.
All in all good-enough value for SEK213, not including tip.
