“one of my favourites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

I have been to this museum many times. I love both their permanent and temporary exhibitions, and of course the wonderful Café Bagdad on the second floor. The exhibition of the first floor of a big collection of big and small clay figures from Cyprus is absolutely stunning. They also have a very nice gift shop, where I have found many beautiful things to buy, both for myself and to give as gifts for my friends.

“Small, but great content”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2014

The museum is very small, but the artifacts are impressive and well presented.
I particularly enjoyed the Egyptian part of the museum with a display of real mummies and the Ayia Irini display of terra-cotta statues.

The museum is easy to find near the Opera and the bridge to Gamla Stan.

Entrance fee 80 SEK. Beautiful jewlery in the museum shop.

“Small enough to Enjoy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2014

With youngsters it is small enough for everyone to enjoy without getting bored.

The mummies are cool, but the virtual exploration of the mummy is not high enough resolution on such a nice touchscreen

“Nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

Great souvenir shop and fabulous restaurant. Swedes like to have lunch there, myself included. Their menu is just delicious. I have yet to visit the exhibition, but the museum is located in a beautiful building and what I've seen of it so far looks very nice.
