“Good location. Nice sauna and plunge pool.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

We loved the views of the water from our window. We were in room 703 and although the decor is nothing to write about, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had fun using the sauna and plunge pool and had it to ourselves for all three nights that we used it even though the hotel was full. There was a large breakfast selection with warm and cold foods and the staff was friendly and efficient.

...courtesy of Stockholm's garbage truck force, especially with breakfast starting at 06:30 at the earliest. Lots of time to explore the spacious room - ever been on a Lufthansa Economy flight? - which left 1 hour and 35 minutes to study the exclusively Swedish newspapers. What else? Well breakfast was okay and the smoker's retreat outside had a heating device which partly compensated for the 200+ Euro per (short) night.

Room Tip: Not the 100 to 103 series, unless you have to catch an early flight.

This hotel is one of the best hotels in Stockholm but it is also one of the most expensive. However, staying at this hotel may much contribute to you total Stockholm experience. But be sure to book a room with a view over Skeppsholmen - must be the most wonderful "hotel views" in the world. Stockholm is one of kind in its total beauty and with the view over Skeppsholmen you do not have to leave the hotel to experience its beauty. This view is one to "die for" and well worth the money you have to pay to stay there but if you have a room with standard view the hotel is clearly just too expensive - even if you consider the friendly staff, the good breakfast and the all over very clean hotel.

Room Tip: You must have a view over Skeppsholmen - otherwise choose another hotel.

Have stayed here many times and last time during ice hockey World Cup .
The hotel and the service is of good standard but it is in need of renovation.
The location is perfect near to Gamla Stan ( Old Town) with lovely historical atmosphere and plenty good shopping and good restaurants. Good parking facilities just in front.
Breakfast is good Swedish standard.
Will surely stay again, just hope they will spend some money for refurbishment .

Room Tip: Can be noisy traffic in front of hotel

We stayed here after a cruising vacation returning to Stockholm from St. Petersburg, Russia. It was just across the street (watch out for the buses, we almost got hit!) from the harbor. Very nicely located near Old Town for last minute shopping and restaurants. Boutique-type place that is clean and friendly staffed. Wish we could have experienced the breakfast, but our flight out didn't allow it timewise. Maybe next time.

Room Tip: Get a room on the top floor if possible. Greater visibility.

The TV in our room was faulty and hadn't been fixed or replaced despite 24 hours notice, so we were upgraded to a better room, but without the view over the front. What was deficient, though, was the careless way rooms were serviced - broken light bulbs (we left one out to see what would happen; nothing), tea mugs left dirty, towels not folded (apparently hotel policy). The wifi was also a bit hit and miss - had to stand in the corridor to get a connection! Apart from such little niggles the hotel came up to expectations.

This hotel has a fantastic location on in old town right on the water. The lobby and restaurant have a trendy boutique hotel feel to them. Staff was friendly, professional, and helpful.

Some of the rooms have fantastic views. Even rooms on the side of the hotel have great views as long as one is in the top floor. The rooms - some with a maritime theme - are a bit worn down. This is particularly true of the bathrooms. While the rooms were not dirty, they were somewhat dusty. Beds, however, are very good. Rooms are on the small side, but bathrooms are astoundingly big - particularly the ones with saunas.

Food in the restaurant was good as well, and breakfast offered a great variety - though it tends to get quite crowded.
