“OK, but still "only" noodles!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

I think Wagamama is OK, but it's still only noodles that come with e.g. chicken either as a broth or fried.

It's good, but not sensational and in my opinion the price is a bit steep considering. My fried noodles last time was quite uninteresting and the ramen soup a better choice

Laid back and service is not too shabby while the ambience is sort of wagamamaish if you know what I mean. Modern, contemporary with flirtation towards the Japanese.

“Overrated: seen from a Japanese perspective”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

First of all, they call it Japanese cuisine but it's not. I would call it like- Japanese or Asian fusion or something like that. The ramen noodles for example had Thai herbs in it that the Japanese would NEVER use in their ramen. Also the miso soup for the miso ramen did not taste like it should. Also the vegetarian gyoza was a big dissappointment. Only the outside pouch was freshly made and nice but the filling had no taste and it was a sticky strange filling inside. So I would say that the food is under average. However, the ambiance and interior design of the restaurant is well done. Gives a trendy, Asian atmosphere and despite the food level, the place was packed. They have nice and friendly staff.

“The same great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

I came here while staying in Stockholm with my boyfriend, being originally from the UK but living in Sweden he really missed the food at Wagamama so despite being "just another chain" we made sure we stopped here on our visit. Just as good as you would expect from Wagamama in the UK (and elsewhere) but with a few additions on the menu. By Stockholm prices it's very good value but if it's busy expect to be seated on the same table, and sitting right next to other people. The staff had a smile on their faces and excellent English but you could tell they were very busy (even though it was a Wednesday night). If you've been to another Wagamama you can pretty much expect pretty much the exact same food (although the gyoza I had seemed to taste much better than normal).

If you haven't been to a Wagamama before the food is delicious.

“Asian fusion in modern setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Divine dumplings rating from duck to vegetarian, delicous squid, spicy curries and teppanyaki1 Many types of noodles, all very good. Attentive staff and a good location right next to the Central station.

“Nice for a little more luxorious lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

It feels international (i e part of a chain, but less provincial than other lunch places around the main train station in Stockholm. Fresh, maybe a little too timid spicing, fairly quick if a little inpersonal at peak lunch time. I would go there again!
