Good location with good views over the water. Room was very well equipped and decorated.
Staff were extremely friendly. The executive lounge was one of the best we have been to and worth upgrading the room just to get access to this facility. Very well equipped gym. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night and the food was excellent. Overall highly recommended and we would definitely go back.

I was at this Hilton for two days for a round of meetings.

Excellent central location by the water.

Even if my room was over a highway, it was very quiet and I slept very well.

Room was well appointed - if you like marble - you will be served well at this hotel.

Meetings took place at the hotel. Very good meeting rooms, comfortable, luminous and well appointed. Food was good and plentiful. Excellent buffet style breakfast.

My bill was settled by Noon on someone else's credit card - this was a bit surprising and took the front desk staff a long time to figure out how to correct this.

Overall - a high quality property.

This hotel is in a perfect location. Right in the water, across from the old town and near the metro (500ft). I do have one major complaint though, to my knowledge (and the people at Hilton corporate) this is the only Hilton that won't let Golds into the lounge unless they upgrade you to an executive room (if there are none available, no lounge accces). When I found this out I immediately called Hilton guest services. They contacted the hotel and got us access. There are lots of options in the old town, the only reason we chose the Hilton is the lounge access (important in an expensive city like Stockholm). So, just be aware, I was shocked (not to mention angry). Everything else was great. Their restaurant/out door lounge is awesome.

This is one of the nicer city Hiltons - not too ritzy where you feel you should not have sweat pants on, but a nice and friendly atmosphere. We stayed a couple of nights here and the location was perfect.
The location was great. Out of our window we had a view of the river and almost all of Gamla Stan. The decor is very nice with its high polished wood look. The rooms and bathrooms are nice size and for the most part you can sleep during the day with no light and no noise. Important since the sun does not go down until around 11PM.

It was easy to walk the block over to Slussen station and take the metro to central station (2 stops). You can also just walk over the bridge and be in Gamla Stan in 5 minutes. The area around Slussen is also nice. If you want a quick meal, there is a subway sandwich shop one block to the right from the front door of the hotel. Additional shops and bars are there to. All the bars sell food so you can get a pint and food almost anywhere. The food of choice is the swedish meatballs of course. Probably the cheapest meals around.

As far as the executive lounge, I was in there at 7 AM when they opened and the hostess there was very nice and helpful. They have the standard breakfast food items, but it is not crowded and it was easy to catch up on emails from back home. Free internet anywhere in the hotel. Based on all of the above and the very helpful staff, this is one of my top picks for a vacation hotel in Stockholm.

I stayed here for 2 nights prior to a cruise. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Gamla Stan and many other wonderful sights. So many good restaurants within walking distance too. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast offers many options. My only complaint is that our room was right above the outdoor bar which was very loud with extremely monotonous music playing until 2:00 AM both nights of our stay. It was impossible to go to sleep until the bar closed. Ask for a room away from the bar!! If we were staying longer, I would have asked for another room.

Stayed here for a week. The gym is a real gym with some decent classes: I did bodypump and bodybalance. There are nespresso machines in the room, and the club room breakfasts and suppers are very pleasant. I loved this place, and would definitely go back. Brilliant location to run the marathon from....

We stayed four nights here, and we were fairly happy with the hotel. The check in ladies were very helpful and courteous. They helped us plan our stay and gave us great advice. The room was large and spacious. We got a great view of the old town from our balcony (Fifth floor). The room was spacious and had ample electrical outlets. They even had an Ipad/phone outlet which didn't need an adapter. You could just plug it into the wall...bravo!
The room could have been serviced better, however. Our coffee/tea were never replenished, the cups weren't washed/replaced, and there were wrappers that were left there from a previous person which stayed there the whole time we were there. The air conditioning kept the room at 79-80 degrees and the hallway was extremely hot. We would open the windows; however, the roar of the trams, trains, and cars was very distracting. One note, when the window was shut, no sounds were heard...now, if they'd just crank the air down a bit!
The breakfast was extremely good. It was very sumptuous with lots of hot and cold choices. I'd rate this as one of the best we've ever had. The internet which is complimentary for gold Hhonors members was very efficient. We also got free drink coupons and chocolates on our first night (we'd booked three different reservations for four days at various rates, so we got 3 drink coupons and chocolates). The breakfast was complimentary for Gold members as well.
All in all, this is a great location. If the temps were higher than upper 60's like they were when we were here, I might suggest requesting a fan from downstairs.

Room Tip: Get a high floor room facing the old town.
