We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in August 2004. The location of the hotel is fantastic, very close to the shops and only a short walk to the ferries and to the other islands nearby (Djurgarden and Gamla Stan). Not only was the food at breakfast great we also didn't need to get up at the crack of dawn to make the breakfast buffet. The staff were also incredibly pleasant and friendly (even when we checked in at about midnight). The only minor disappointment was the age and pressure of the showerhead in the bathroom (it was about 20 years older than the rest of the bathroom), but it is by no means the worst hotel shower I've ever experienced. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone, especially if you manage to get a good internet deal - it's great value for money.

I stayed at the Crystal Plaza with my fiance last chrsitmas for three nights. I got a great internet deal on the room including breakfast.
The location is good - almost all the sights are walkable. Our room was a bit dated I felt and could have done with some modernisation but was clean. The room was of an average size (but the bathroom was VERY small).
The smorgasbord breakfast is fab - go for the waffles!!
The chinese restaurant in the hotel is also very good.
Overall, this is not a fantastic hotel but it is clean, hospitable and very good value for money.

Stayed 1st week in June. This was a wonderful hotel! Didn't quite expect such a lovely place for the money. Spacious, clean room with a country Swedish design, nice bathroom w/ a jacuzzi (didn't work though). Great location, very close to shopping and ferry docks. There's a great bar next door that looks like a movie theater and a really cool restaurant down the street (Atlas) with cushioned chairs on the sidewalk to lounge in if you want. A gorgeous park is nearby as well.

I would definitely stay here again.

A quite nice hotel. I got a cheap internet rate and of course you get what you pay for: my room was rather small and under the roof, although very clean and comfortable. Other rooms are very beautiful and large. Friendly staff and good location.
